Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at the 1990 Midwest Borzoi Club Detroit Specialty. Dream produced various Specialty winners and Champions - - one of them was Specialty winning Ch. Blackmoor's Dream Machine, "Thunder", pictured below.

The Rokaro "A" Litter

A fond goodbye to Anyuta, the last of the "A" Litter, of whom Karen had 3. She died Nov. 21 after a brief illness. Active until the very end, she is a tribute to Karen's kind care, and was 15.5, a wonderful age for a Borzoi. She will live on in the memory of those who knew her. Her brother Akim and sister Aiva also went to Blackmoor Kennel.

Misty was the dam of two litters, producing a litter of two when bred to Ch. Rokaro's Demian Blackmoor (below) and a litter
of five when bred to Ch. Soyara's Titan of Blackmoor JC. Pups from both these litters have been specialty winners or group winners

"Demian" is a Ch. Stonebar Sebastian grandson on his sire's side combined with a pedigree strongly linebred on Kishniga Desert Song and Dalgarth on his dam's side. A striking black, Demian was a Specialty winner and the sire and grandsire of champions.

Chelsea was acquired for my teenage daughter, Christina, when she decided borzoi were not animated enough to be shown in juniors! Although not totally from show lines, "Chelsea" did manage to win a best in match at a fairly sizable fun match. "Chelsea" lived for over 14 years and saw many things at Blackmoor and we truly miss her sunshine ! The photos depict what, I am certain, "Chelsea's" heaven must be like.
